A vigilant flying defender can pay to surveil and can attack only after you scry or surveil that turn; useful blocker and selection mana sink.
More
- Pick-Two
- Its printed cost is 1U. Count the colored symbols as well as the low total when deciding whether it fills an early slot.
- Sealed vs Draft
- A low-cost creature helps an early slot only if your lands can cast it; read its abilities before assuming it attacks or blocks normally.
- Two-Headed Giant
- Your cards and mana remain yours. A shared team turn does not let a teammate pay this card’s costs for you.
