David Barnard’s maker link on Credits and the site’s structured author information now point to his X profile.
Credits →The same guides, tools, card pages and printables now live at mtg.guide. Links from magic.davidbarnard.com permanently redirect with their paths and filters intact. The older guide addresses and bookmarked sections continue to work.
Click an open card tile again, or use Enter or Space on its focused tile, to close the preview and return focus. Other cards still replace it in one pane. Printing tiles now grow to fit their names and counts. Cards uses the window width, with matching navigation and filter edges; Pack odds pools and product pull galleries also get more room while reading pages and Win rates retain their layouts. Selected printing tiles use a set-colored outline, tinted panel, matching high-contrast name and count, and a check badge. Hover and keyboard focus stay inside the tile so the scrolling strip cannot clip them.
Cards →Opening All filters from the sticky Cards toolbar reliably reveals its header and facets at every width, including restored panels on filtered links. Find a filter now includes unavailable matches with a gray zero count, so active filters never hide filter names.
Cards →All filters is now a compact, searchable index: expandable facet rows, stable value ordering, live counts, selected chips, and a pinned search/Clear all/Done header. Cards adds Grade thresholds for both sets, slimmer printing filters, range histograms and a card-search handoff. Products, Stores and Pool workshop use the same component. Special-printing choices still switch Cards results to printings.
Cards →Every filter panel, sheet and facet menu now starts with a sticky live result count, Clear or Clear all, and Done. Clear affects only the intended filters; menus keep selections visible and restore focus when closed. The same controls cover Cards, Products, Win rates, Stores, workshop filters and format or sort selectors.
Cards →Opening a card preview with a mouse or touch keeps accessible focus on its title without a focus ring. Keyboard-opened previews keep their visible focus indicator.
Cards →Card previews stay docked down to 900px, fit the entire scan within the available screen height, and replace the current card without stacking previews or history entries. Card pages share the same scan cap. Search keeps its space before facets, special-printing tiles have edge-to-edge artwork and tighter labels, and Learn status lines wrap. All filters now has an expanded-state chevron, a visible close button, and consistent Escape/outside-click dismissal with focus return.
Cards →Special printings stay visible above Cards in a compact scrolling strip. Printing filters automatically show the matching printings; Key picks and Bombs are quick filters with draft cues. Card pages and previews show larger scans with accessible printed text and double-face controls. Every Explorer keeps All filters beside search, promotes facets as space allows, and preserves quick picks. The footer now combines its data date and fan credit in one compact line.
Cards →Pair pages gain visible strategy controls, current-section markers and consistent dataset dates. Build fixes team-card notes and exposes all count inputs. Phone toolbars follow the header; Win rates reduces repeated facts. Mechanics and Learn restore the intended labels, examples and sorting figure while retaining the complete rules.
Build →Card previews stay beside the product pull strip and show all matching slots plus modeled per-printing chances where available. Cards keeps filter counts in a consistent scope, adds counted filter pills and improves keyboard stepping. Product comparisons and deck lists are simpler; Pack odds distinguishes finishes and refreshes pool previews in price order.
Cards →The home cards now link straight to each guide tool. Phone maps fit their results on first opening, menus include guide sections, and shortcut help uses the search panel. Start separates Prerelease and Draft Night rules and shares the checklist and pick checks between sets; Sources removes repeated credits and dates.
Reality Fracture →A seven-lesson Learn path, set-aware examples and glossary, a compact map and store list, and refreshed About, Credits, Changes and recovery pages complete the one-guide-per-set redesign.
Learn →Both set guides now have a compact Start page, searchable mechanics, interactive Pick-Two and Sealed practice, printable previews and a consolidated Sources page. Reality Echoes has its own validated pack with its true pair marked.
Practice →Build now starts with paste, add-card and manual-count inputs, followed by the six-step routine, visual mana references and team play. The Pool workshop keeps your pool and selected deck together, with shared card previews.
Build →Compare Play and Collector Boosters one at a time. Expand official card pools in place, preview chase printings and follow each slot. Hobbit’s modeled pack value, distribution, displays and case comparisons now live below the official odds.
Pack odds →Compare sealed products in rows, a grid or grouped tables, with current market prices, per-pack costs and case comparisons. Every product has a focused page for contents, card previews, pull rates and fixed decklists. Free Welcome Decks and product-specific extras stay easy to find.
Products →Compare all ten color pairs in one compact list, then open a focused plan with checks, next picks, card jobs and worked turns. Draft format follows you between Cards, Color pairs and Win rates. Hobbit keeps its drafting boards, ranked cards and shortcuts inside a smaller frame; old pair links still work.
Color pairs →Every card now brings its rules text, draft advice, printings, finish prices and pull information together on one page. Lists and draft tools open the same preview without losing your place; Back, Escape and card stepping work on desktop and phones. Existing card links remain valid.
Cards →Cards and Printings now share one list with quick views, a sticky Explorer bar, consistent filters, grid and table layouts, and current singles prices. Key picks and Bombs keep their guidance; phone filters apply together when the sheet closes. Saved treatment views, art cards and Hobbit modeled-value sorting remain available.
Cards →A compact header now switches sets while keeping your page and compatible filters. One tab row carries each guide, Dates opens on demand, and phone menus close with Back. Page headings and footers use the shared design system; the draft tools retain their shortcuts and layout.
Reality Fracture →Cards, color pairs and products now have their own pages. Start, Products, Pack odds, Cards, Color pairs, Win rates, Build, Mechanics and Practice share one guide navigation. Saved links and PDF URLs still work; the existing draft tools and data gates are preserved. This is the routing release ahead of the visual redesign.
Reality Fracture →Moved the date bands into one compact Dates control beside the tabs and removed tab New badges; corrected two Reality pack-slot explanations; made Build count links show only commons and uncommons; combined duplicate Hobbit basic-land galleries and fixed singular and Box Topper wording. Enlarged lesson and product links and kept the landscape chapter menu reachable. Reality retailer offers were removed in the previous release; Sources and the pricing methodology now reflect the marketplace data actually shown.
Simplified the hub to its set cards, ordered newest releases first throughout navigation and search, and moved creator attribution and the unchanged Fan Content notice to Credits. Removed artwork-credit overlays and the visible Cards heading while preserving accessible page headings and drafting shortcuts.
Added a quiet “This is fan content: Credits” line on the left of every footer, above the other links on phones. Removed the duplicate Credits link from the link group; the full Fan Content Policy notice remains unchanged on Credits.
Credits →Removed the legacy Collect footer layout from shared pages. Both Collect guides now use the shared full-width footer, with one divider, the fan-content line on the left and navigation on the right; phones retain the stacked layout.
Reality Fracture →The store directory now puts neighborhood shops first, gives each group its own card frame and map symbol, and highlights verified Magic event hosts with schedule links. Filter by shop group or Magic events; each badge has dated, location-specific evidence.
Find stores →Added 18 Best Buy branches verified through their local Magic pickup listings, with official addresses, map pins and dated evidence. Updated the curated directory and its verification rules.
Find stores →Added a footer link to a regional store directory with an interactive map, city and retailer filters, Google Maps directions and dated evidence for each location. The directory starts with Wizards’ official listings and includes additional shops verified through their own product pages.
Find stores →Added Pick-Two and Sealed exercises for both sets, a Reality Echoes exercise, Hobbit role examples and an event checklist. Reality’s 152 grade-only notes now explain what each card does and when to take it. Win rates show the dataset average and pair differences. Added sticky chapter navigation, touch-friendly controls and update markers. Tabs now load independently, with recoverable data failures, hashed assets, security headers, product share pages and enforced rendered-module checks.
Reality Fracture →Added category-level box and case odds, grouped rare treatments, card pull guidance and visible exclusive pools. Product comparisons now include lowest listings, box savings and computed suggestions. Fixed lists show prices, totals and a Copy decklist button. Added official art-card galleries, set-code explanations and promo links. Both guides now recover from missing scripts or data with printable links.
Reality Fracture →Restored the desktop key-card boards and correctly sized mana symbols. Scene choices now show only their fixed cards. Collect, Play and search share one singles-price feed and freshness date. Home, guide navigation, Start and key dates now follow the event calendar. Renamed the Reality Sealed & Two-Headed Giant PDF while preserving old links, and cleaned up source labels.
Reality Fracture →Product lists distinguish physical card counts from different printings. Choosers and pack savings refresh with the displayed market snapshot. Restored page descriptions, clarified the Multiverse Reforged strategy, simplified small-screen navigation and made unknown Play links return to Start.
Sortable product and Commander comparisons, clearer pack odds and fixed contents, decklist views, practical land assessments, complete pair indexes and dated sources. Faster tab-specific loading, bundled assets, shared jobs and lessons, improved navigation and caching.
Added Hobbit insights, event cards, alternate-plan examples and more card pairings. Made deck choices easier to find, sped up Start, and improved mobile layout, keyboard focus and recovery when data fails to load. Reality now links both format-labeled sheets from Videos & print; the Pick-Two & Reality Echoes sheet is available now.
Reality Fracture →Added sortable Grid and Table product comparisons, per-pack and MSRP comparisons, product guidance, separate source filters, optional Foundations cards, tokens and legality. Standardized labels, dates and source trails; added page-specific sharing details and error reports with the current URL. Moved the old Hobbit value tools into Pack value.
Reality Fracture →Expanded Reality color plans with card pairings, shared strategy choices and Reality Echoes advice. Added Draft & Pick-Two basics and format-specific printable sheets, restored Hobbit in-page draft shortcuts, and put the Build a deck routine in reading order.
Reality Fracture →Expanded Build a deck in both guides with separate Pick-Two, one-pick and Sealed advice, worked decisions, mana tools and a color-filtered instant/flash reference. Card links keep your construction choices and reading position.
Reality Fracture →Added a saved deck checklist for each construction format, expanded both sets’ Mechanics and Two-Headed Giant references, and added quick gallery selections with exact printing and finish filters.
The Hobbit →Build a deck now includes a saved Pool workshop: add cards or review a pasted list, choose copies for the deck, organize by color, printed mana value or job, check the plan, and copy decklist text.
Reality Fracture →Restored in-page Win rates shortcuts, ordered the deck-building routine, added shared Pick-Two basics and Reality Echoes guidance, unified pair-plan controls, and generated format-labeled draft and Sealed sheets. Recorded examples and video chapters retain dated sources.
Added Hobbit set insights, event cards, a black strategy-changing card and more worked sequences; added fixed-deck and chase-category references. Start pages now load a smaller first-view payload, artwork is resized and shared, and mobile choices, landscape navigation and history focus are clearer.
Added strategy-first Bombs references, Reality Pick-Two basics and event preparation, date-aware set status, readable mobile navigation, complete Adventure text, clearer product pricing and smaller product images.
Unified the Collect and Play guides, added common and uncommon card notes for both sets, preserved draft shortcuts and card-history navigation, added Learn Magic and source pages, and expanded dated singles and sealed-product prices.
Learn →Search every guide from one place, move between a card’s Play advice and Collect printings, and switch each color plan between drafting and building a Sealed pool. Added concrete pick decisions, worked sequences, and card lists for missing jobs.
Reality Fracture →Separated the six deck-building jobs, retained Bombs and saved filters, added searchable rules terms with card examples, and integrated modeled Hobbit Play Booster, Collector Booster and Box Topper values. Unified treatment labels and added data and naming checks.
The Hobbit →Added Hobbit Premier Draft results alongside the default Pick-Two view. Format choices follow cards, color plans and shortcuts. Bombs advice stays focused on Pick-Two, and Reality keeps dated reviewer guidance until suitable public data is available.
