Predictive Preparations FRA 0016 · common
Predictive Preparations · {1}{W} · Sorcery · Put a +1/+1 counter on each of one or two target creatures. Flashback {3}{W} (You may cast this card from your graveyard for its flashback cost. Then exile it.) · Fatehold battlemages believe the best way to win a duel is to first study the outcome.
Play
Places a +1/+1 counter on each of up to two creatures; flashback allows another casting from your graveyard; filler for underpowered aggressive decks.
More
- Pick-Two
- Flashback supplies another cast from the graveyard for its printed cost; that cast then exiles the card.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Compare the front and flashback costs with your mana. Recasting from the graveyard uses another turn’s mana or extra mana now.
- Two-Headed Giant
- The effect still has its printed number of targets. Two opponents do not turn a single-target spell into two answers.
