Play
An early creature with useful value after trading.
More
- What it needs
- A deck that needs early board presence; a Jace or plan to use a new one.
- How to use it
- Trade the body when appropriate, then spend one mana and exile it from your graveyard to empower twice.
- Playing against it
- Graveyard exile can remove the later value. Do not overvalue its one toughness against pings.
- Pick-Two
- Empower adds loyalty to your Jace token or creates one if absent. It does not grant an extra loyalty activation this turn.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Its early role matters more than being a high-rated card; defensive decks may value a sturdier blocker.
- Two-Headed Giant
- You control the Jace created for you. Your teammate does not gain control of it or share its loyalty activations.
