Play
A six-mana engine capable of stabilizing a creature board.
More
- What it needs
- Double red and survival until six mana; useful creatures or tokens.
- How to use it
- Its static trigger creates a Cadet whenever YOU activate a loyalty ability. The −3 deals four to creatures except tokens you control.
- Playing against it
- Non-token creatures you own are not protected from −3; five-toughness creatures survive unless already damaged.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Expensive, powerful and mana-intensive; it belongs in a deck with a functioning early game.
- Two-Headed Giant
- Your teammate’s loyalty activations do not trigger it. Your −3 damages THEIR creatures and tokens too; the exception is only tokens YOU control.
- Bombs
- Survive to six mana with early plays; its loyalty activations make bodies. RR is a serious red commitment.
