Play
Adds five loyalty counters to your Jace token, then adds planeswalker loyalty whenever you gain life; limited payoff when empower options compete.
More
- Pick-Two
- Empower adds loyalty to your Jace token or creates one if absent. It does not grant an extra loyalty activation this turn.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Count the printed empower amount. A planeswalker normally activates only one loyalty ability on each of your turns.
- Two-Headed Giant
- Life you gain changes your team’s shared total, but it is still you gaining life; your teammate’s “you gain life” triggers do not fire for it.
