A potentially enormous payoff that can also do nothing.
More
- What it needs
- Reliable life gain in the same turn, plus mana left for this spell.
- How to use it
- Count life actually gained this turn, not net life-total change. Plan the lifegain event and 2W together before spending either card.
- Playing against it
- Attack or remove lifelink creatures before damage, or disrupt the intended lifegain sequence.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Include for a reliable package, not its ceiling. One occasional gain-one trigger is a very modest payoff.
- Two-Headed Giant
- Your teammate gaining life changes shared life but is not life YOU gained; that does not increase your X.
