Play
A useful sacrifice answer, but you do not freely choose the permanent.
More
- What it needs
- A target opponent whose highest-mana-value creature or walker is the threat you need removed.
- How to use it
- Check both creatures and walkers and all ties. The opponent chooses among tied greatest mana values.
- Playing against it
- A different expensive permanent can shield the bomb; a cheap must-answer engine may survive.
- Pick-Two
- Identify the printed effect your plan needs before choosing this with a second card; sharing a color does not make the two cards a combo.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Bypasses hexproof/ward on the sacrificed permanent, but is not universal targeted removal.
- Two-Headed Giant
- Targets one opponent; it does not make both sacrifice.
