A flexible flash creature with a rare two-card combo application.
More
- What it needs
- A useful tap/untap/loot window; Splinter Twin only if actually opened.
- How to use it
- After Twin enchants a Duelist that can tap, make a copy; use the copy’s enter trigger to untap the original, then repeat for arbitrarily many hasty copies.
- Playing against it
- Remove the original in response to Twin or an activation, or counter/disrupt the untap trigger.
- Pick-Two
- Its printed cost is 2U. Count the colored symbols as well as the low total when deciding whether it fills an early slot.
- Sealed vs Draft
- Do not build a bad UR deck for a combo you do not own; the ordinary creature still has useful modes.
- Two-Headed Giant
- Tap/untap can target any creature, including a teammate’s. The Twin loop can also be assembled across teammates because the Aura can enchant their creature; coordinate control of the granted ability.
